Museum trip

Tuesday November the 5th we were on our school trip.

There was lots of new things to explore through the museum. We all learned new things about tapa and tevaevae, They were a type of art that can be around your house. There was a fabric that was used in for when friends or family come over, it is very expensive over $5000 dollars but when they leave you have no choice but to put it away and lock it up.

Our group just finished with the tapa and tevaevae class in the museum so we were exploring around and looking at things that we never knew before and the land had no living on the earth. We were reading about how the people in the olden days were joined in the war to help protect our country and the war is still happening from this day on. We were learning how people took there own life for the war and to protect there people who were still walking among us. They look up at us today and take there life over 2000 men and ladies have sacrificed there own life to help there people and there loved ones from far away. 

We learned a bit about volcanoes. The man in the rock was the one who jump in the volcano to stop everything from preventing the lava to flow down the mountain and through the town. The only thing his family found is him in a pile of rocks if you go to the museum look for the volcano aria you can find the boy covered in a pile of rocks in a glass room. 

We were in the volcano room watching a bit of things about volcanoes and everyone in there got scared from the the ground started shaking and made them scared but all I can say is that I know we all had fun and learned new things about tapa and tevaevae and how people give there family and life to protect us.
